August 26, 1948 djw48@suddenlink.net Professor of Fine Art www.dannyjwilliams.com

I attended La. Tech University right after graduation.  However, my father fell into ill health and eventually passed away, so I had to quit college.  Therefore, I was immediately drafted into the US Army-1968.  l enlisted in the lesser of the evils, and joined the USAF for four long years stationed in Tampa, Florida.

After that stint I moved back to BC, and started working for the power co. as a draftsman.  I started night school and accumulated enough hours I knew I could graduate and get my degrees to teach art at the college level.

I moved to Ruston, LA to finish my degrees, and acquired a Master of Fine Arts which qualifies me to teach any art subject on the college level.  So, school and teaching has pretty much been my life for the last forty years as a Professor of Fine Arts.  I do not plan to retire anytime soon.  I will have twenty years in at Bossier Parish Community College this January.

I am a practicing and productive artist also.  I just finished a body of work after converting to the computer.  All my work now is generated from the computer since that's where we are at now in our society, and that is what most contemporary galleries are looking for.  See my gallery on Facebook-natch.  I look forward to seeing some of you at the festivities!

Thanks for finding me. Although I have been traveling a lot over the years my wife and I have made our last move I hope. We live just outside Pensacola, Florida. My address is 5233 Crystal Creek drive, Pace, Florida, 32571. My wife's name is Beverly and my second best friend is Cedric my dog.  I retired a few years ago and keep my self busy with, fishing, pottery and cooking. I was generally called Ronnie, I am in the yearbook as Clifford Ronald Williams.  I am on Facebook as Ron Williams and have had a little contact with Jeff Wilson and Jackie Hearst, although I believe they are both still mad at me for talking them into joining the Marine Corps with me.  We all ended up in Vietnam at the same time but life took us all in different directions.  I'm so glad you found me and really enjoyed the year book and the postings on the class website.  Thanks for the invitation to the reunion but obligations here don't allow me to attend but please remember me for future events.
Cheers

January 10, 1948 Sanderw48@yahoo.com Retired - State of Louisiana (Human Resources)

After graduation, I married in December, 1966.  Jimmy and I have one daughter, Rachelle (age 47) and three grandchildren (ages 22, 20, and 17).  I worked for the State of Louisiana in various jobs, but found my favorite, Human Resources, and retired from that position in January, 2008.

We lived in Shreveport until retirement and moved to the little town of Nixa, Missouri, which is about 30 miles North of Branson.  We have gotten to experience snow on several occasions - -something we seldom saw in Louisiana!  We are loving retirement and wonder how we ever had time to work!!   Looking forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Barbara Jones (Zeidman)
September 05, 1948 barbarazeidman@yahoo.com retired
After graduation, I attended LSU, majoring in history and classical languages.  I fulfilled many co-ed dreams when I married Professor Jim Zeidman shortly before graduation. We relocated to Connecticut where he taught and I got a masters degree from Yale.  We moved to CA, where I had a great career with the City of Los Angeles finishing as the Asst. Gen. Mgr. of Housing, majoring in earthquake rebuilding and finance.  I followed my city time with a great career at Fannie Mae as the Director of the LA Partnership Office, then 4 years with Wells Fargo in San Francisco.

Jim and I had a great life together, cut short by his early death at 56.  I finished raising our great kids, seeing them all graduate from college and launch successful careers.  One is married and lives near me with his lovely wife and my fabulous grandsons--soccer every Saturday, swimming every Thursday!  I enjoy fly fishing (it's a Colorado thing!) cycling, cooking and chasing the kids.  Although technically retired, I am a CASA and GAL for children caught up in the judicial system, generally because of abuse or neglect--makes me truly grateful for the blessings I and my children have.

I will not be able to join you for the reunion as I am visiting my oldest son in DC.  He will be deploying to somewhere in the Middle East in a few weeks.  After serving as an Army Ranger, then in SpecialForces, he is now working for one of our country's intelligence services--my kid with the "D" in Spanish II in high school speaks five languages, most spoken in countries whose last initials are "stan".  Please keep him and all of the brave men and women serving our country in your thoughts and prayers.  I will be with you in spirit, remembering with joy and occasional aggravation all the great times we had together.
